Abstract:The most important problem s in the study of antimony deposits include classification of antimony deposits, genetic models of antimony deposits in various tectonic settings, and antimony sources. In further classification of antimony deposits, we should consider tectonic settings, origin of antimony deposits and host rocks. This paper deals with genetic models of antimony deposits in different tectonic settings. The data of antimony deposits indicate that the formation of antimony deposits is controlled by such interactions between the crust and the mantle as delamination. This seems to be the most important and difficult problem.
